Cottage Lake Park

SB&A Principals managed and prepared the Master Plan for this 20-acre park, while employed by another firm. This 20-acre park (formerly known as Norm’s Resort) was purchased by King County. The Master Plan included extensive public involvement, inventory and analysis, facility programming and coordination with regulator agencies. SB&A was retained to prepare construction documents for portions of this park. The facilities include picnic shelters, restrooms, boardwalks and bridges, a fishing pier, car-top boat launch, swimming pool, salmon stream and wetland enhancement, amphitheater and open meadows.
