Factoria Boulevard

The Factoria Boulevard traffic improvement project extends from SE 41st Place to the 3600 block. The project includes the addition of right turn lanes, c-curb, consolidation of existing driveways and a new signalized intersection. Storm drainage, landscape development, illumination and street crossings are also included. SB&A’s responsibility includes the landscape development and irrigation plans from schematic design through construction documentation and construction administration. The design includes the siting of trees, shrubs and groundcovers within the right-of-way and the preparation of drawings and specifications for the irrigation system. The contract provisions will be completed for planting and irrigation using WSDOT Standard Specifications and applicable City of Bellevue Standard Specifications. SB&A is also working closely with the Bellevue Art Commission and Maggie Smith, the selected artist, on an art concept that integrates the landscape development.
