Principal, Landscape Architect
Charles Warsinske is a registered landscape architect with over 30 years of experience in hundreds of projects ranging from garden design to regional planning. His diverse experience leads to his forecasting of issues to be addressed by his planning and design solutions. Chuck’s comprehensive knowledge of landscape design, development, construction and project management allows for creative resolution of issues as they arise.
His completed work has included the ground plane transformation of the Highline Community College Campus including accessible pedestrian ways, art features, subtle connections among buildings and a planting scheme that is colorful, interesting and sustainable. He is currently working with Bellingham Technical College to again, transform a tired collection of buildings into a campus that is interesting, colorful, and dynamic.
Chuck is currently concentrating on trail planning and design in making connections among various segments of regional trail corridors. He is addressing encroachment issues on the Burke Gilman Trail; trail improvements on the Snoqualmie Trail System and a feasibility study for alternative routes to Preston Snoqualmie Trail. He also is in design on the Westside Trail for the City of SeaTac and the Interurban Trail for the City of Milton. Chuck is just beginning the feasibility study for an eleven-mile rail to trails conversion for the Yakima Greenway Foundation addressing a corridor from Yakima, north to Naches.
