Enumclaw Trail Plan

SB&A was selected for this assignment in association with the downtown development project on which the firm was a sub-consultant. The master plan inventoried trail use patterns in the community and worked with a steering committee to ensure participation by all potential trail users including pedestrians, equestrians and bicyclists. The central spine of the trail corridor is the old Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way that links King County, the City of Enumclaw, the City of Buckley and Pierce County. Off of this central spine, the plan identifies designated bikeways along streets and a pedestrian promenade near the central business district. The trails link all the public facilities in the community with the residential neighborhoods and the commercial/retail business district.
